Junk Journalists agree to redact manifesto leave out allegations against others / influences

Date: 02/07/13

Update: 4/24/13 City agress to pay 4.2 million to two women who survived cops uncontrollable trigger fingers. No news on discipline for officers though as Junk Journalists don’t ask the question.

Junk Journalists agree to redact names from what the media says is the manifesto of ex Los Angeles Police Officer turned alleged killer Christopher Dorner protecting those he alleges committed wrong doing as police officers.

The Junk Journalists agreed to the redaction based on a request from Los Angeles Police Department.  The redactions also appear to protect the names of journalists and others who Dorner admired.

Here is the typical statement. “NOTE: At the request  of the Los Angeles Police Department, FOX 11 has removed all names mentioned in this manifesto for their safety. Also note that we have redacted some offensive  language contained within this statement.”magnified

None of these Junk Journalists explain how this request makes sense or protects the officers named in the manifesto.  Dorner is the threat to these officers and since he wrote the manifesto, he knows who they are and already has them under threat. The manifesto makes serious allegations of wrong doing against the LAPD including the assault on a homeless mentally ill man. He describes a toxic environment within the department that results in the abuse of power.

“Those Caucasian officers who join South Bureau divisions (77th,SW,SE, an Harbor) with the sole intent to victimize minorities who are uneducated, and unaware of criminal law, civil law, and civil rights. You prefer the South bureau because a use of force/deadly force is likely and the individual you use UOF on will likely not report it. You are a high value target.

Those Black officers in supervisory ranks and pay grades who stay in south bureau (even though you live in the valley or OC) for the sole intent of getting retribution toward subordinate caucasians officers for the pain and hostile work environment their elders inflicted on you as probationers (P-1′s) and novice P-2′s. You are a high value target. You perpetuated the cycle of racism in the department as well. You breed a new generation of bigoted caucasian officer when you belittle them and treat them unfairly.”

The allegations may or may not be true, but the names of those mentioned in the manifesto should be made public.  Dorner’s list of grievances and “high value” targets is long and extensive and some members of the public are likely to live near or associate with people who might be under threat. Some websites are publishing what is claimed to be an original version of the document.

In what is said to be the original document published by Davy D’s Hip Hop Corner, Dorner has high praise for Junk Journalists who now sensor him, Democrats, the first President Bush, the New Jersey governor and hopes for the death of the relatives of Wayne LaPierre:

“Wayne LaPierre, President of the NRA, you’re a vile and inhumane piece of shit. You never even showed 30 seconds of empathy for the children, teachers, and families of Sandy Hook. You deflected any type of blame/responsibility and directed it toward the influence of movies and the media. You are a failure of a human being. May all of your immediate and distant family die horrific deaths in front of you.
Chris Matthews, Joe Scarborough, Pat Harvey, Brian Williams, Soledad Obrien, Wolf Blitzer, Meredith Viera, Tavis Smiley, and Anderson Cooper, keep up the great work and follow Cronkite’s lead. I hold many of you in the same regard as Tom Brokaw and the late Peter Jennings. Cooper, stop nagging and berating your guest, they’re your (guest). Mr. Scarborough, we met at McGuire’s pub in P-cola in 2002 when I was stationed there. It was an honor conversing with you about politics, family, and life.”
Thus far, Junk Journalists missed the irony of a gun totting ex-policeman about to go on a killing spree advocating for gun control and the death of the family members of those who support a citizen’s right to own firearms.
Junk Journalists also appear to be very understanding in the cases where officers opened fire on innocent citizens who happened to be driving a car that looked like Dorner’s.  If an armed citizen, opened fire on a car because of a perceived threat even if that citizen was under threat from another, that citizen would be immediately arrested and likely convicted.
In one case, more than 30 rounds were fired at the car containing two elderly women delivering newspapers.
