Brian Williams / Kelly O’Donnell One Sided Junk Journalist Gaffe Detectors

Republican Gaffe detector – Brian Williams spends several nights discussing Sarah Palin’s Paul Revere story, never reporting that some historians agreed
with Palin’s account that was more detailed than the elementary-school account Williams favored. With the help of Kelly O’Donnell, Williams focuses on Michele Bachmann and ignores President Obama’s gaffes including one on June 23 when the President said “I had the great honor of seeing some of you because a comrade of yours, Jared Monti, was the first person who I was able to award the Medal of Honor to who actually came back and wasn’t receiving it posthumously.” The Video below is from ABC News as Williams did not find the President’s gaffe newsworthy. Interestingly, NBCnews.com is not offering the June 23 show for viewing but several days after and before are offered.

NBC News Looking Anti-woman and racist – In covering the first debate, on the Today Show, NBC News failed to mention Herman Cain who was deemed to have had the best performance. Now, NBC news has spent several days trashing the top two women Republicans. For NBC News liberals, it appears racism and anti-women behavior is OK provided the person of color and women are Republican. NBC News is color blind and pro-women if the subjects agree with liberal causes.

Chris Wallace the Useful Idiot For Junk Journalists – Unable to escape his Junk Journalism roots, Chris Wallace provides the clip to his fellow traveling Junk Journalists who report his “flake” question and then report his apology. By asking the question and then apologizing, Wallace gave Junk Journalist the ability to report the question for several news cycles. Junk Journalists seem to enjoy becoming the story rather than covering it. A weak attempt at propagandizing and setting public perceptions of Michele Bachmann before the public can get to know her on their own.

Just Journalism – Journalists should be equal opportunity gaffe detectors if these gaffe’s are newsworthy, which is questionable. Journalist of all people should know that mistakes of fact, misstatments, poorly worded phrases and poorly written statements are a fact of life. The problem with Junk Journalists is they don’t recognize their own mistakes and pretend they have achieved God-like perfection.
